In the beginning the whole world was dark. A chief in the sky kept light in a box. Raven, through his trickery steals the light. As he flies with the light, Eagle spies him and chases him. Raven, tiring, lightens his load by breaking off pieves and tossing them into the sky: the stars. Eagle closes in, so Raven breaks off a larger piece; the Moon. Finally, exhausted, Raven releases the Sun into the sky.
